About the B:IT.con conference
B:IT.con is a Bjelovar IT&tech conference that takes place in December.
At this year’s conference, 8 lecturers will present a total of 8 topics in one sequence. The first lecture at the conference will be given by one of the leading Croatian astronomers and the initiator of the Višnjan observatory, Korado Korlević. A total of 250 participants are expected at the conference.
The organizer of the conference is the Polytechnic in Bjelovar, which offers three undergraduate professional studies in the STEM field: Mechatronics, Computing and Nursing. Co-organizers of the conference are: City of Bjelovar, tech43 and Technology Park Bjelovar d.o.o. The city of Bjelovar strongly encourages the development of the IT sector and the development of higher education. Tech43 is the name for an enthusiastic group of Bjelovar’s IT&tech community. Technology Park Bjelovar is a supporting entrepreneurial institution that helps and supports the development of ideas, innovations and entrepreneurship in the city of Bjelovar.
